Cisco emphasized the clarity and definition of the image, and the experience of having someone “life-size” on your TV. I couldn’t wheedle any specs for the camera out of them, but at the wide end it is about 40mm and 8x zoom. This is a purely speculation on my part. F-numbers were not provided, but it didn’t seem to have any trouble in a normally lit room.

Cisco’s ūmi will come with basic phone functions like call blocking, video voice call and more. You get notified regarding your messages on your phone though you cannot check them there. Cisco’s ūmi can also record video’s with 720p and share them right through Cisco’s ūmi to video sharing websites like YouTube etc.

Cisco’s ūmi is available for pre-orders form October 6th and as per the information these should start shipping by November 11th.
